Walt Mort - Row Crop Fieldman/Sales

 

Walt Mort was born and raised on the family farm in Fruita, Colorado.  After graduating from Fruita Monument High School in 1981, Walt spent the next 25 years farming all over the Grand Valley, offering his experience and knowledge to many different farms in the area.    In 2004, Walt and his family moved to Olathe, and reside there to this day raising corn, alfalfa, and wheat.  He also produces custom feed cattle.  In addition to farming, Walt worked 12 years as a mechanic and truck driver for a large local farm equipment company.  He came to Cropworx in 2013, looking forward to the opportunity to get back out into the field and work with area farmers and ranchers.  

Out on the farm, Walt resides with his wife and two children and continues with his own farming operation.
